MEET THE TATTOO ARTISTS
Shred is the owner and senior tattoo artist at 51ºÚÁÏ Custom Tattoos and has over 30 years of experience in tattooing with over 20,000 tattoos done during his legendary career.
Shred is known for doing many different styles of tattooing.
He has a unique way of doing black and gray tattoos using contrast, combining deep black with subtle grays to achieve a three dimensional look.
Realism and portrait tattoos are a specialty of his, capturing the essence of his subject with textures that are true to life.
Shred is highly skilled with the line weight of a tattoo which means he can do minimalist fine lines or bold, strong lines depending on the style you desire.
His color tattoos are rich and vibrant because he understands color theory and how to mix colors to get the perfect tones to make his tattoos stand out.
Shred became a tattoo artist in the beginning of the new school tattoo era so he knows how to take traditional tattoo ideas and turn them into new school tattoos as well as doing traditional tattoos like the old timers did.
He collaborates closely with each client to create personalized, stunning tattoos. His commitment to quality makes him a standout tattoo artist in the Chicago tattoo scene.

WALK IN EVENT SATURDAY APRIL 26TH
Shred will be doing walk ins Saturday, April 26th. This is your chance to get tattooed without having to wait for an appointment. Shred will be doing walk ins from 2pm-10pm and it will be first come first serve. Stop in and get some new ink done by one of the best tattoo artists in Illinois!
